Steel type that represents Martensite, goof strength but not suitable for use in harsh/severe corrosion conditions. Has excellent drawability and hardens with heat treatment (magnetic).

Characteristics
In quenching condition, has high strength and good corrosion resistance (magnetic)

General knife (dinner knife) turbine blades

Characteristics
Compared to 420J1, higher post-quenching strength (magnetic).
